Meet Your Guide

Dr. Janice Wright, MD

Menopause Expert | Mindfulness Teacher | Mama | Research Translator

Janice Wright, MD is a physician, educator, researcher, health care leader, mother, and mindfulness teacher. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in anatomy and physiology from McGill University, her MD from McMaster University, and did her family medicine residency at the University of Toronto, Canada where she was chief resident.

Clinically, her area of special interest is healthy aging – body, mind, emotions, and spirit – during the peri to post-menopausal years. She has been a certified yoga and mindfulness instructor since 2003 teaching several weekly classes in addition to her own personal practice.

Dr. Wright is generous and talented at sharing research and breaking down the physiology for those she teaches.

With this increased understanding of themselves – along with deeper self-awareness and peace through mindfulness –women who work closely with her feel empowered, relaxed, and confident in their lives.
